The structural feature of the hanging roller group is that it is flexibly connected between the rollers. The roller group can be hung with rigid frames such as channel steel and steel pipes through a gripper, or with flexible frames made of steel wire ropes. The gripper can be rigid or flexible, and its structure and arc forming characteristics vary. The carrying roller generally has three to five sections, and the more sections there are, the better the flexibility and arc forming ability.
Product characteristics of hanging roller set
(1) Has extremely strong neutrality. The hanging roller group has flexible connections between the rollers. In unfavorable situations such as the misalignment of the feeding center of the belt conveyor or the significant height difference between the two sides of the frame, the conveyor belt and the materials on it can automatically return to the centerline of the conveyor under its own gravity. The more roller segments and larger groove angles in the roller group, the better the alignment effect.
(2) Has excellent impact resistance. The rollers of the hanging roller group are flexibly connected, and the relative position between the rollers is variable, which easily absorbs the impact of large materials and inevitable mechanical vibrations, making it suitable for conveying large materials.
(3) It has the characteristics of reducing noise and being more environmentally friendly. Due to its ability to absorb mechanical vibrations and impacts, it reduces conveying noise.
(4) It has the characteristics of quick disassembly and installation. The connection with the central frame (whether rigid or flexible) is hanging, making it easy to disassemble and more suitable for installation and use in narrow tunnel spaces.
(5) Equal length rollers are suitable for a wide range of bandwidth. For a 450mm roller, two sections can be strung together to form a V-shaped roller set; Three sections adapt to a bandwidth of 1000mm-1200mm; Four sections are suitable for bandwidth ranging from 1400mm to 1600mm; Five sections are suitable for bandwidth ranging from 1800mm to 2200mm; Six sections are suitable for bandwidths ranging from 2400mm to 2600mm. (6) High conveying capacity. The curvature angle of the conveyor belt has a limited value. For conveyors with large conveying capacity, the installation inclination angle of the fixed belt conveyor roller group should generally not exceed 45 °, while using a five section hanging roller group, the rollers tilt twice, and the total tilt angle can reach more than 60 °. Compared with fixed roller sets, hanging roller sets with the same bandwidth have significantly increased load-bearing capacity.
(7) The service life of idlers with the same roller diameter and shaft diameter is high. For a belt conveyor with a large bandwidth, when the groove angle of the side rollers is 35 °, the force on the middle roller is about 70%. Taking a bandwidth of 2200mm as an example, the middle roller of a regular bracket type three section roller support roller set is 800mm long, and its service life is half that of a five section hanging roller set with a middle roller length of 600mm.
